Water For Elephants is out in theaters and Francis Lawrence is on a PR tour promoting it. Mrs. Go,See,Talk saw it (without me) but as always the case, it’s not like the book which is why she wasn’t very compelled to write a review. Sorry folks. Anyway, the video below has him talking briefly with MTV and more to the point of the post, he talks about his adaptation of the Hellblazer comic. Fans of the film and those eager for a sequel, this might just be of interest to you…although it still just sounds like more pillow talk and rumors.

A fan of Keanu I have been game for a sequel since the adaptation came out in 2005. It’s at the top of my list as far as films worthy of a redeeming sequel. In fact, a similar film that some thought didn’t have the legs, Hellboy, came back with a sequel that was waaay better than the first and became a huge success. I believe the waters were sufficiently tested for Constantine which could easily lead to something equally as grand and hopefully as widely appealing. But I’ll leave it to you.
What say you fans of Johnny boy?? Anyone interested in a Constantine sequel? How do you think Keanu did as a non-blond?? If and when it gets off the ground, does the R-rating sound like the right direction??

I’ve just seen this recently and I thought it’s pretty decent. I love Keanu and he looks darn good here. I guess I’m kinda indifferent about the sequel, I guess it depends on whether I like the trailer, but I might rent it 🙂

I actually quite enjoyed Constantine. It was the first HDDVD I bought (back in the good old days of the hi def war). I used it to show case all the time.
