Must Listen: Billie Eilish’s Original Song to ‘No Time To Die’

Hey there, Bond fans. Today we have a special treat for all of you eagerly awaiting 007’s next mission. Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish has today revealed the official music video for ‘No Time To Die,’ the original song written for the 25th James Bond motion picture, No Time To Die.

Directed by Daniel Kleinman, the visual interweaves footage of Billie Eilish with scenes taken from the highly anticipated upcoming James Bond motion picture. We’ve posted the audio track and the official music video below for your enj00yment.

It’s a pretty somber track – one that barely rises above simmer – but that’s Billie’s zone. And after listening to it a few times, it’s quite compelling. It even has couple nods/callbacks to signature Bond theme elements which is a nice touch. It’s starting to win us over.

But what do you think about it? Does the song telegraph James’ inner turmoil, is it evocative of what a cool customer he is, or does it represent the Bond of a new generation?

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Directed by Cary Fukunaga, this new Bond adventure stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, with Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes as “M“.

No Time To Die will be released in theaters globally from November 12 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on November 20, from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.
