Last month we posted 6 of the new characters in Dreamworks’ upcoming sequel to Kung Fu Panda. Well today we have one new addition to the line up…one, well I guess you can’t really call henchmen one new character, but you get the idea. The Gorillas are the muscle in Lord Shen’s army.
From the looks of him I wonder if this guy walks down the street singing, “I ain’t happy, I’m feeling glad, I got sunshine in a bag, I’m useless but not for long. The future is coming on…“. Hopefully he’ll be more menacing than Cheech Marin in The Lion King.
The Soothsayer has been an advisor to the Peacocks, rulers of Gongmen City, her entire life and will be voiced by Michelle Yeoh.
Lord Shen (read: evil) wants to wipe out kung fu and take over China. He’ll be voiced the one and only Gary Oldman…need I say more??
The only other characters who don’t have new posters are for Master Croc (voiced by JCVD) and Master Thundering Rhino (voiced by Victor Garber). Click here to see the previously released photos.
