Ohhh, Look…Spooky Retro Monster Posters From Tim Burton's 'Frankenweenine'

From creative genius Tim Burton (Batman, Alice in Wonderland) comes Frankenweenie, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

Below are 6 pretty awesome looking drive-in movie styled posters for your enjoyment…run in terror from the likes of New Holland’s reanimated pets!!

A stop-motion animated film, Frankenweenie was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which elevates the classic style to a whole new experience. We saw it is Fantastic Fest last week and just loved it. Since I haven’t been excited for a Tim Burton movie in over a decade, this was a huge surprise and totally succeeded in winning me over (check out my review here). It’s heart-warming tale that is tons of fun (especially in 3D) and the throwback style of filmmaking/kooky level of spooks are very reminiscent of the classic Burton films.

Starring Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Tom Kenny and Martin Landau, Disney has slated Frankenweenie for release in 3D this Fall on October 5th, 2012.
