Ohhh, Look…THR's Award Season Roundtable Series

2011 has been a banner year full of fantastic films both great and small. While we do our very best to give you the highs and lows of the good and bad out there we’ve still only managed to see a fraction of the noteworthy films this year….and it’s not from a lack of trying that’s for sure. Roughly 166 films populated cinema screens this year and we’ve only knocked a fraction of them off our must see list.

Of the great number of films out there this year The Hollywood Reporter again showcases the best and the brightest with the return of their popular Roundtable SeriesSo if you’re like us and find your 2011 “seen it” catalog lacking, here’s a few videos below to help you get an idea of what you may have missed and/or give you a little back story on this year’s stellar films and the personalities behind them.

Since BAFTA/Oscar season is getting closer so you can still catch a few of these these giants (either in theaters or at home) before the “For Your Consideration” campaigns get started. Now take some time and enjoy these rousing and entertaining sessions with 2011’s most talked about writers, directors, actors and actresses…
