Sweet Trailer…M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Devil’

Well just when you think M. Night was washed up, here he comes with something that looks like he’s still got it. Below is the trailer for DEVIL. This film is all his idea but the first where he isn’t writing or directing it. Sounds like a good idea to me. I think he needs to take a step back and step off the “Lucas-Control-Freak-Express”. Trying to do it all I think has kept his last couple of films from reaching their potential. That said, I’m glad to see he producing this. That’s a perfect idea; have creative control but let someone else steer the boat. Anyways, check this out…it’s worth your time!!

From our friends at First Showing, we get this excerpt on this awesome looking thriller:

Devil is directed by Minnesota-born filmmakers/brothers Drew and John Eric Dowdle, of The Poughkeepsie Tapes and Quarantine, the remake of [Rec], previously. The screenplay for this was written by Brian Nelson, of both David Slade’s Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night previously, and is based on a story conceived by M. Night Shyamalan, who also produced the film. This is the first in Shyamalan’s The Night Chronicles series of thrillers. The second film in the series will be called Twelve Strangers. Universal Pictures is bringing Devil to theaters starting on September 17th this fall.

Damn, now this I gotta see:) Teaser Gods be damned, I’m on board for this one!! Who’s with me??
