Sweet Trailer…’Fisherman’s Friends’

Sometimes we all need to get away. In the latest from Samuel Goldwyn Films comes a delightful little comedy about enjoying the little things. And when are we not going to highlight anything with James Purefoy?

Anyway, this is the kind of small film that we think will have a big impact, similar to hilarious and heartfelt efforts like Sing Street, The Grand Seduction, and The Young Offenders to name a few. It’s a fish out of water story that teaches us to reevaluate and ultimately question what success really means. Enjoy!

Ten fisherman from Cornwall are signed by Universal Records and achieve a top ten hit with their debut album of Sea Shanties.

Fishermen’s Friends is directed by Meg Leonard and Nick Moorcroft. The film stars Daniel Mays, James Purefoy, David Hayman, Dave Johns, Sam Swainsbury, Tuppence Middleton, Maggie Steed, Vahid Gold, Christian Brassington, and Noel Clarke.

Samuel Goldwyn Films has set this for a May release.
