    For those of you who grew up in the 1980’s, or were old enough to experience that period of filmmaking, it was a great era for the movie industry.  There were so many movies that made us laugh, cry and feel a myriad of other emotions.  One genre really stands out during that period; comedy.  Not just comedy, but female driven comedies.  Goldie Hawn was the queen of comedy films in the 1980’s.  Movies like Private Benjamin, Protocol and Overboard were among the many great successes of that period.  Post-1980’s we saw a sharp decline as female comedies seemingly faded into the sunset.  Three decades later Bridesmaids comes out swinging…

    Video Interview…’For A Good Time Call…’ Stars Lauren Miller and Ari Graynor

    Lauren Miller and Ari Graynor star in the raunchy but heartfelt film For A Good Time Call…the story of former college frenemies Lauren and Katie who move into a fabulous Gramercy Park apartment. However, as they’re a bit short on funds, the unlikely pair start a phone sex line together in order to make ends meet.  Go,See,Talk got to sit with both Miller and Graynor to discuss their experiences in making this hysterical and crass but good-natured comedy.     Well this is a nice surprise. The first of the films that played at the 2011 Dallas International Film Festival are now finally making their way to theaters. This hit the web last week and as I’ve been away am now getting caught up. Boy, now I’m looking forward to seeing what others have gotten picked up. Anyway, Lucky is about Ben (Colin Hanks), who after winning the lottery marries his childhood sweetheart Lucy (Ari Graynor). Only, as she’s never been into him, she quickly marries him simply for his money. Right when she starts to actually fall for him Lucy learns that Ben is a closet serial killer. But…
