    As stated in our FYI post, starting something this daunting is nearly enough to make my head spin.  Best Films of the DECADE??  What was I thinking??  Oh, it was sooo hard not to just pick ones I like and I really wanted to avoid letting cultural favorites/Oscar winners obscure the decision-making process.  But a simple voice of reason and a suggestion changed everything.  After thinking about this for a while now (starting back in October) I have racked my brain (and DVD library) and have come up with something I believe will be much easier.     G-S-T Review…Inglourious Basterds

    Quentin Tarantino, of such great character films like Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill has completely re-written the Enzo G. Castellari story of the U.S. soldiers in WWII occupied France for his remake of the 1978 cult classic The Inglorious Bastards.  Having little to do with the events of the original, QT wove one very well written and directed film that I have to say right off impressed me thoroughly.
