The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is part of an international best-selling trilogy of books.  The series originally hit the Silver Screen in Sweden back in 2009.  The whole series receives a facelift in English; no subtitles this time around.  Check out our review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo here.

The Muppets stars those beloved Jim Henson creations, which were given a fresh start in this comeback flick from Disney.  With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon. Check out our review of The Muppets here.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is based upon a British spy novel from 1974.  The book spawned a BBC mini-series in the late 70’s.  In 2011 it was hurled onto the big screen with a cast so strong they could have made even the worst script tolerable.  Check out our review of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy here.

    Wow, I didn’t realize TGWTDT was coming to Blu-ray already. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the film, and I’m not entirely sure how it did at the box office, so it doesn’t surprise me entirely. I’m definitely picking up a copy of The Muppets (loved it!).

      Yes the home video window gets smaller and smaller and smaller. I wasn’t blow away with either film actually but still think they’re worth seeing again at least once.
