This month, April Mullen‘s thriller Wander hits on Demand and Digital. The film sports an all-star cast including Aaron Eckhart (Midway, Thank You for Smoking), Katheryn Winnick (“Vikings,” The Dark Tower), Heather Graham (The Hangover, Boogie Nights), and Academy Award winner Tommy Lee Jones (The Homesman, No Country for Old Men). As a mixed Anishinaabe Algonquin (Indigenous) director, from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Mullen’s latest directorial effort is created in honor of all Indigenous, Black and People of Color who are targeted and have been displaced through border control on stolen land. It’s a vibrant yet sly neo-noir set in the Southwest, and it’s clear from the noteworthy opening that something is rotten in Denmark, I mean Wander. Whether it’s an unreliable…

We know what the outcome of the movie will be, because it is history. However, the joy is in the journey as you are thrust back into an explosive time rife with turmoil and change. G-S-T Review…Men In Black 3
There’s an old saying that when you’re at rock bottom you can only go up. That certainly describes the MIB series after the hugely disappointing sequel from 2002. Even after a decade, that film still leaves a bitter taste. However, at G-S-T we always root for a redeeming sequel. Did we get one? Well almost, but again, anything would fare better than MIB 2. What’s most enjoyable is that this film, and series really, is so familiar that it’s almost like no time has passed since we saw Agents J and K save the Earth for the first time way back in 1997. Here come the Men In Black *clap clap* and Agents J and…

Sweet Trailer…'Men In Black 3' – UPDATED
For those of you who weren’t digging the teaser or the posters for MIIIB feast your eyes on the official first trailer. It’s pretty retro and based mostly in the 60’s which means the Smith/Jones chemistry we were hoping for is going to be minimal. Still Brolin does a pretty good job at channeling Jones so I think we’re all in for a treat. Enjoy! Now I may be alone in thinking this but that was the most promising thing we’ve seen yet. The scale looks bigger and I hope they deliver us a villain that is a little more menacing and threatening than MIB 1 and 2. Plus we…

Ohhh, Look…New 'Men In Black 3' Poster
I’m not sure what to call the third Men In Black. Is it MIB3, MIIIB, Men In Black 3 (cubed)? Well whatever it’s called, the name is really inconsequential as it’s not what’s going to have to make up for the let down that was MIB2. Personally I’m still reeling from that and I bet I’m probably not the only one. One thing the world could have done without was seeing such popular characters phone in what was essentially a cash grab. So after a decade without the first last only line of defense against the worst scum of the universe, Agents J and K are back for a third outing. In December we…
