First off, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Friday and hope their week went well…if not well, cheer up, it’s almost over. That said I’m sure we’ve all seen at least one Disney animated move about princesses, princes, witches and the like. If so, you know that right before the credits role (with or without a musical number) they all live ‘Happily Ever After”…
Well if you’ve had a rough week then take solace in these clever photos of those same princesses/characters in everyday life living a not so storybook ending. As the artist, featured on JPGmag.com, puts it: These works place Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The ‘…happily ever after’ is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues.
These are very smart pieces of art and proof that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the silver screen…Enjoy!!!
