This month we saw the start of Summer which included a kick ass assortment of films that lived up to expectations (see our reviews of Man of Steel, The Heat and everything else). But this month we were also treated to a giant helping of posters teasing what’s in store for the coming months. The following assortment of visual splendor give us everything from the neon lights of Nichols Winding Refn’s Only God Forgives, rice paper themed posters for The Wolverine, a half dozen character posters for The World’s End as well as a whole lot more.
So if you happened to miss all these awesome looking posters this month then you’re in for a treat. Scroll to your heart’s (and your eye’s) content and enjoy our June Poster Round Up….

How’s that for eye candy?? We’re pretty partial to the Man of Steel posters (then again we go gaga over all of Mondo’s work), and The Hobbit and the Ender’s Game propaganda posters look terrific. But the one that’s made the most waves at the GST camp is the Pacific Rim IMAX poster which got the blessing from Del Toro himself.
“I am thrilled to introduce Sergio Grisanti to the world,” director Guillermo Del Toro said in a statement. “For years he has been a highly respected commercial artist. When I was first exposed to his art for ‘Pacific Rim,’ I knew instantly that he was a powerhouse of talent. He created the Jaeger posters/card art we used at WonderCon. Without any hesitation I asked him to create this new Imax Fanfix art. Look at it closely — with a magnifying glass! So much going on! Such power! Such beauty! Sergio loves his Kaijus and his Mecha, and it shows. The poster, like my film, is a tribute to well-loved things. I wish all the fans the best time at the first Imax screenings of ‘Pacific Rim.’ Enjoy!”
There’s really not a bad one in the bunch, so tell us, which one(s) do you like the best…and are they for films you’re eagerly anticipating??
