Hey, film fans, we’ve got a fun little video for you. This breezy featurette highlights the all-star cast of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film hitting the big screen next month. What’s that? You hadn’t heard about The Bad Guys? Well, neither had we, but it sounds like it’s right up our alley.
In the new action comedy, a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws are about to attempt their most challenging con yet—becoming model citizens. Never have there been five friends as infamous as The Bad Guys—dashing pickpocket Mr. Wolf (Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell), seen-it-all safecracker Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), chill master-of-disguise Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), short-fused “muscle” Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos) and sharp-tongued expert hacker Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina), aka “Webs.”
But when, after years of countless heists and being the world’s most-wanted villains, the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf brokers a deal (that he has no intention of keeping) to save them all from prison: The Bad Guys will go good. Check out this sneak peek below…
Directed by Pierre Perifel, this hysterical looking film start Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh and Alex Borstein. This kind of snuck up on us, but as it’s almost April, this will be here before we know it, and I for one am really excited to see this one!
Based on the Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey, The Bad Guys will be released Only In Theaters April 22.
