There’s not much more that needs to be said about this film that doesn’t already speak for itself. On paper Oblivion sounds like a win and like icing on the cake, the trailers have really been hitting all the right chords. Kosinski, Cruise, M83 and epic sci-fi, that alone should seal the deal on this big budget post-apocalyptic behemoth. But for those of you who weren’t sold thus far, here’s another amazing trailer that again hits the concept right out of the park…enjoy!
So far there’s nothing about this that doesn’t just look flat out amazing. Can’t wait to see how this unfolds, especially on an IMAX screen. It’s beyond impressive from just the visual perspective but the concept of the story sounds equally strong. I guess that little J.J. Abrams sci-fi project now has a little competition this year, don’t you think?
Oblivion is directed by Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy) and stars Tom Cruise, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Melissa Leo and Morgan Freeman. This post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller will be released this Spring on April 19, 2013 and exclusively on IMAX on April 12th.
