Anyway, this is the kind of small film that we think will have a big impact, similar to hilarious and heartfelt efforts like Sing Street, The Grand Seduction, and The Young Offenders to name a few. Fishermen’s Friends is directed by Meg Leonard and Nick Moorcroft. The film stars Daniel Mays, James Purefoy, David Hayman, Dave Johns, Sam Swainsbury, Tuppence Middleton, Maggie Steed, Vahid Gold, Christian Brassington, and Noel Clarke.
