There are few actors that we at GoSeeTalk love more than Kevin Costner. We’re fans which means we don’t care about the plot, we just want more Costner! As he is, and has been a bit of a career renaissance, things continue to look good for this down to earth actor, musician, and humanitarian. Costner’s latest film is a Disney sports biopic called McFarland, USA. It’s set in 1987 and focuses on a group of high school runners who give their all to build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White. January and February titles don’t statistically do well at the box office, but this Cosnter-led film faces a tiny bit of competition from Hot Tub Time Machine 2, The Gunman (starring Idris Elba and Sean Penn) and Jane Got a Gun (starring Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor). Maybe the Winter doldrums won’t be too abysmal next year as most of those sound like awesome releases. Directed by Niki Caro, McFarland, USA is slated to hit theaters next year on February 20, 2015.
