In the 31 years since Since John McTiernan and Ah-nuld kicked-off the Predator universe, the series has had some severely diminishing returns. Usually the more you see of something, the less impact is has. And weak story has a lot to do with it. As such, the Predator brand needs a real good jump start that is both fresh, exciting, and free of well-worn gimmicks. So while the news of re-shoots, a pushed back release date, and a ho-hum first trailer haven’t done much to get people excited, we’re hopeful. Why?
