Marvel pulled off the finale to their impressive superhero balancing act this year with The Avengers, a trick they look to duplicate with a sequel in 2015. In between now and then, though, the studio– now positioned as one of the film world’s most important blockbusting authorities, at least as far as I’m concerned– looks to unveil a variation on that delicate but bombastic act with Guardians of the Galaxy, which at present boasts a release date of August 1st, 2014. Christopher Nolan Bids Batman Farwell In Fond Send-Off
With the last leg of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy is now in theaters (and raking in record-breaking box office numbers if you weren’t aware) we’ve, sadly yet quite satisfyingly, reached the end of this particular Batman’s journey. As part of Nolan’s contribution to a forthcoming book titled The Art And Making Of The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan penned this foreword which, to comic/film fans the world over, is a reverent, classy and almost tear inducing send off to his massively successful addition to the Batman universe. Ohhh, Look…First Image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman for 'The Dark Knight Rises'
Not to be outdone by yesterday’s debut of the Big Blu Boy Scount in costume, WB has released an official costume shot from their other DC mainstay. Nope, not Batman, but rather his frenemy Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman). To be honest I really didn’t want to put this up as it’s not nearly as impressive as Supes new duds (and probably not the Catwoman costume either) but I’m intrigued with this shot of her on the…well, you’ll just have to see after the jump won’t you?
