    G-S-T Review…Rango

    After the success of the previous Pirates installments, Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp bring us another spectacular flick, this time in another equally believed dead genre. Rango is a gruff but gorgeous adventure replete with all the grandeur of the earlier Depp/Verbinski collaborations and delivers the fun we’ve come to expect from the pair. This time though their efforts yeild an epic tale that takes us on a great ride via a different medium. Enticing, creative and off the wall, this very funny tale gives a fresh yet vintage spin on the old and gritty spagetti westerns.

    Hypothetical: If No Property Is Sacred Anymore, Could An 'Indy' Reboot Work??

    I’ve been watching Justified more and more lately and it’s safe to say I’m hooked. To me it’s one of the best new shows out there and I wager it’ll pick up steam and be around for a while. Being a HUGE fan of House M.D., this is the only show that has grabbed my attention with an awesome main character on par with Greg House. Also the writing is top-notch and very very witty. Further, just when it seems like the show is about to wrap up, I am overjoyed to find I still have about 12 minutes left in the episode. Now while I have nothing but praise…

    Sweet Trailer…’The Crazies’

    Ask anyone who’s a film fan and they’ll tell you that George A. Romero gets credited with starting the zombie genre.  Although zombie films are my guilty pleasure, his sequels are starting to get a little thin and tired but it’s awesome to how his films have inspired the likes of other “zead” aficionados like Simon Pegg and Ruben Fleischer.  One (supposedly) flattering thing about the generation of people he’s influenced is that his films seem fit for a re-imagining by up and coming filmmakers. In 2004 Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) remade Dawn of the Dead to great success, not only launching his career but very properly paying homage to Romero. Well, following suit is…
