The 64th Annual BAFTA’s were this past Sunday and anyone not living in the UK (or those who don’t have an insane cable with a full BBC lineup) missed out on the action. The only one I’m not too happy with was True Grit winning for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY. That was really the weakest of the 5 nominees. But that’s what I think. What do you have to say about the winners?

I had a link to the BAFTA site for the list of winners on my post today, I might as well just change it to link here instead 🙂 Glad for The King’s Speech. Did you watch the event, Marc? I wish I could see it when I saw everyone tweeting about it. Lots of my fave actors attending/presenting.

The highlight for me was when Rosamund Pike came out with that guy she starred with in An Education and the auto-cue stopped working. She displayed about as much charm and charisma as the airhead socialite she displayed in the aforementioned film. It proves just how much actors need a) A SCRIPT and b) DIRECTION.

Also, I was taken aback by host Jonathan Ross’ nose hair which seemed to be growing from within his nostrils.

Greta ending with Christopher Lee and I was glad to see The King’s Speech grab a few awards.
