A screenwriter, struggling for inspiration for his script, gets drawn into the dog kidnapping schemes of his oddball friends. Things take a turn for the worse when a gangster’s mutt goes missing. Unfortunately we were unable to screen Seven Psychopaths before its theatrical release date. It’s an intriguing movie with some unique plot twists and great acting. Even if you don’t buy it on Blu-ray, you should definitely rent it.

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up. Dracula has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. For Dracula, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem – but his world could come crashing down when a human stumbles on the hotel for the first time and takes a shine to Mavis. Check out my review of Hotel Transylvania here…definitely worth buying on Blu-ray.

It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in. Unfortunately we were unable to screen Paranormal Activity 4 before its theatrical release date. But, if you are a fan of the first three installments, you will enjoy number four.

Thanks for the release news and reviews, Grady May. I have been searching for a few good titles to rent. My job at DISH had me traveling for the better part of last year, and I fell a bit behind on my movie going. I am getting caught up now that I have the DISH Blockbuster @Home service; they offer over 100,000 Blu-ray or DVD TV shows, Movies and video games by mail, so I can easily rent what I’ve missed. I already have Hotel Transylvania in queue for my kids, and I just added Seven Psychopaths and PA4; we can watch those when the kids go to bed.
