Out of relatively nowhere comes Steven Soderbergh’s sci-fi thriller Contagion. Similar in tone to 28 Days Later (just sans the Zed heads) this film shows what happens to society in the face of fear. Hmmm, I though Soderbergh was done with Hollywood and planning to retire if he “saw one more over the shoulder shot“. Ah well a filmmaker as good as he he can never really leave the game can he?
