Remakes and sequels are all around us. Such is life. This week we saw the trailer for the 3rd remake of Ben-Hur (which doesn’t look one bit appealing), but Edgar Rice Burroughs‘ “Tarzan” is another property that gets a fresh coat of paint every couple decades. While this already looks like it’ll be better than Peter Jackson’s King Kong – another in a long line of remakes/retreads – we think it’s because the practical bits (thank you Mad Mad: Fury Road) and the digital ones (thank you Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) will blend very well in this seemingly compelling story.
