Sweet (UK) Trailer…'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn'

While I wasn’t really sold on the last few trailers for The Adventures of Tintin this one does look really sweet! Partially I think I was just trying to avoid as much Tintin as possible but with a video this great how could you not watch, right? Below is the UK version that proves once again that some of the coolest adversting campaigns are used across the pond. Well, no matter, thanks to the Internets you can bask in the same glory as our UK friends. So batten you hatches and enjoy some Indiana Jones styled mo-cap fun in this new trailer for the CG Spielberg/Jackson epic…

Whaddya think? Looking good yet? Well you can than Peter Jackson and Weta Digital for that sublime eye candy as those animated Tintin episode on HBO from years back don’t have anything in this now do they? The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn sports simply all star voice talent and features a story co-written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). For those of you eager to see this, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is set for release in 3D this Winter on December 21st 2011. Wow, with Sherlock Holmes 2, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and War Horse hitting theaters around the same time it looks like were going to have a Winter that’s almost as big as the Summer, wouldn’t you say? Who’s in for this adventure??

With all these movies coming out over the holidays there won’t be anytime to see the family. I was always going to see ‘Tintin’, but now it looks even better. The other films coming out around that time period interest me more though especially War Horse.

True Max, but the beauty of the cinema this time of year is that when you just can’t stand said family the theater offers a pretty convenient. Is it any mystery why booze sales and box office receipts are highest around the holidays?:P

But seriously I do feel we’ll be entirely overloaded in December…but you’re one of the first people to tell me you’re excited about War Horse. I like what I see but am not totally drawn to it.
