It seems that no studio is without production/financial/creative woes. We heard about the long struggle to get Skyfall up and moving and for the past year we’ve been heard similar stories about the roller coaster ride that was the production of Disney’s The Lone Ranger. I don’t know if I’m doing Solomon Kane any favors by discussing its common ancestry; connecting the film to a gene pool that contains Van Helsing and Season of the Witch brands it with a very specific set of very low expectations.
