We’re not a big fan of spoilers, but in the case of this particular film, we’re going to let the cat, err dog out of the bag. Why? Well, because when a story makes you feel this many emotions, you’re gonna want to tell all your friends about it, and shout it from the mountain top.
Heart of the Beast is good, really good, and is miles ahead of most films to hit the big screen this year With true, tangible emotion, gripping action sequences and jaw-dropping landscape shots, this is just incredible. Moving stories of isolation, perseverance and friendship rarely get better than this. It’s David Ayer‘s best film since Fury and, mostly because of the quiet moments, the kind of movie we need right now. It’s also fitting that his last name rhymes with rare and air because he’s one of the best.
