Ohhh, Look…New 'Men In Black 3' Poster

I’m not sure what to call the third Men In Black. Is it MIB3, MIIIB, Men In Black 3 (cubed)? Well whatever it’s called, the name is really inconsequential as it’s not what’s going to have to make up for the let down that was MIB2. Personally I’m still reeling from that and I bet I’m probably not the only one. One thing the world could have done without was seeing such popular characters phone in what was essentially a cash grab. So after a decade without the first last only line of defense against the worst scum of the universe, Agents J and K are back for a third outing.

In December we were given a teaser trailer and it was divisive to put it kindly. Recently there were two posters released for the film. To those worrid about this film they weren’t very comforting or appealing so I took a little creative license and decided to help out the efforts the marketing team. The image below is a latent image match of the two posters in an effort make something a little more appealing. I’ll be the first to tell you I’m always one to root for the underdog or champion a redeeming sequel. After all I loved the first MIB and even though II failed narrative-wise there was still that delightful odd couple chemistry between Smith and Jones. So with extremely cautious optimism the fan in me rejoices at the chance for our heros to reclaim some of their former glory. Let’s just hope it’s better than the posters…

Starring Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Rip Torn, Barry Sonnenfeld’s Men In Black 3 will take us on a 3D jounrney across the forth dimension this Spring on May 25th 2012. Look for the first full trailer to drop Monday next week. Fingers crossed it will be something special.
