    Sweet (Teaser) Trailer…’Cowboys & Aliens’

Oh man I don’t know how much more trailer awesomeness I can take in one week. Who am I kidding this is AWESOME!! On Monday we had the Cowboys & Aliens teaser poster and now we have the teaser trailer. What a week film fans, what a week! Check out Daniel Craig in the awesome trailer from Yahoo! Movies below: In Silver City, Arizona, Apache Indians and Western settlers must lay their differences aside when an alien spaceship crash lands in their city. Wow, that was just what a trailer should be; elusive and mysterious. This adaptation, of a graphic novel of the same name, is directed by Jon Favreau…

    Sweet Trailer…’Your Highness’

Now this is quite a change in the ever dynamic career of James Franco. He’s such a hot property (I still thought he would have made for a good Anakin Skywalker) and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. Yet for as amazing and professional as his performance is being praised in Danny Boyles’ 127 Hours, he looks like he’s still comfortable having some fun and hamming up the scene. Here Franco stars alongside Danny McBride and Natalie Portman in David Gordon Green‘s follow up to Pineapple Express. There’s a lot of raunchy laughs to be had…Enjoy! While I didn’t mind Pineapple Express I didn’t love it either; it just…

    Sweet (Teaser) Trailer…’Green Lantern’

Well the hits just keep on coming don’t they? We thought two pretty sweet trailers in one day was enough. But as yesterday was just chock full of teaser/trailer goodness  it seems there’s more fun to be had this week. Most of you have probably seen the Entertainment Tonight “first look” clip and intriguing as it was, we now have something even better! Below we have this simply stunning trailer for Martin Campbell‘s Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. This longer than normal teaser trailer (kind of like the Thor trailer released at Comic Con) really sets the stage for the big screen debut of another popular DC…

    Sweet (Teaser) Trailer…'Cars 2'

Vrroom, vroom!! It looks like we’re getting a truckload of Pixar magic this week and the latest offering form everyone’s favorite stateside animation house comes in the form of animated cars. Yesterday we had a post featuring a gorgeous screen shot and a teaser poster which was awesome enough. Today we get an oh so sweet teaser trailer and it really makes me smile (FYI, the trailer released about a month ago that was more like an “announcement” trailer). So enough stalling, let’s hit the gas shall we? In this sequel to 2006’s Cars, we follow Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater as they set out on an international adventure…

    Sweet (Official) Trailer…'The Mechanic'

Earlier this year we posted the promotional looking trailer for the remake of Charles Bronson’s The Mechanic. It was interesting but still rough. Since then a lot has changed (possibly some story by the looks of it) and this final product has a very refined feel to it. Starring Jason Statham and the increasingly awesome Ben Foster, The Mechanic looks to be the first solid actioner kicking off 2011. So as it is almost upon us (and pushed back from its original December 15th release date), we now have a much slicker looking trailer from our buds at First Showing to get us in the mood. Have a look for yourselves……

Sneak Peek…Green Lantern, Cars 2, Cowboys & Aliens and Pirates 4

Calling all you film fans, have I got a mixed bag of awesome to start off your Monday! Let’s begin with something that dropped on Friday. Here we have a first look at Ryan Reynolds as the titular character in Martin Campbell‘s upcoming Green Lantern. This video should be a good amount of eye candy and even though the footage looks unfinished and out of context footage from the film. Not enough to sell me as of now but I do want to see more. Enjoy… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hV1FQoEkXcI&feature=player_embedded Next up we have a beautiful screen shot image from the Pixar camp for their upcoming feature Cars 2 (plus you can click this…

    G-S-T Review…Due Date

Being ever so much funnier and engaging than the trailers implied, Due Date, Todd Phillips‘s second road trip movie, proves that he has more up his sleeve than Frank the Tank and a “one man wolf pack“. Personally speaking I really didn’t know what I was in store for aside from his hilarious but brief resume which goes back to 2000’s Road Trip. Call me a less than sophisticated film enthusiast but I’ll take a good laugh riot over a perfect story most days of the week. That said, going into Due Date, did anyone expect the latter from a film that is supposed to the the former? A road trip is a road…

    Sweet Trailer…'Battle: Los Angeles'

Well this is shaping up to be a trailer packed week but can you blame me, there’s just been a good number to go around. This one however doesn’t need a set up so I’ll get right to it. Here we are with a fantastic trailer courtesy of our great friends at First Showing. Basically its District 9 meets Blackhawk Down (or what would have happened if the aliens from ID4 actually landed) and that equals AWESOME!! The word epic gets thrown around waaay to much thanks in large part to the over-dependence of CG, but I’ll spare you my opinion save to ask you this. After what you just saw, can…

It's a Trap! – The Final 'Family Guy' Star Wars Spoof Coming Soon…

Well talk about good news to kick off the weekend. From the mind of Seth MacFarlane and his genius comic crew comes the final installment of their Star Wars spoof trilogy. It was about this time last year that their Empire spoof titled Something, Something, Something Darkside was announced. Well as it’s that time of year again, now I know what I want for Christmas. This is awesome news but Holy Lightsaber Luke! Where have I been that I’m only now hearing about this?? Thanks to Cinematical for the heads up. Of course if you haven’t picked up any of the previous versions, Amazon is running a sweet deal offering the trilogy…

The World's End – Final Leg of the "The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy"?

Calling all you Wright, Pegg and Frost fans out there!! Seems like years ago the trio had us cracking up with the comic gold that is Shaun of the Dead. Hot Fuzz was an excellent (albeit more serious) follow up and then….a big nothing. Pegg took a trip on the Enterprise and later re-teamed with Frost for the upcoming Paul. All the while Wright went on to successfully adapt Scott Pilgrim vs the World (which I just loved). But while we heartily enjoy their separate and collaborative efforts, fans began wondering about when they would continue/conclude Wright’s fabled “Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy”. Well dear friends news of that day has come…well in some form at least From our friends…
