On Tuesday night, at the end of Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., we were teased with the announcement that we would see the world premiere of the very first trailer for next summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron during next week’s episode. Well, early yesterday, the teaser leaked online. It quickly spread like wildfire through the interwebs and Marvel realized that there was no point in waiting. In fact, they were quite humorous about the whole situation when they tweeted this:
Dammit, Hydra.

We won’t hold you up any longer because we know what you came here to see, but I will say this. James Spader absolutely kills it as Ultron. His voice for the titular robot is just amazing. Oh, and that Hulkbuster armor. WOW! All that’s missing is confirmation whether or not what you hear in this glorious teaser is Brian Tyler’s music…we’re willing to be it is. Enjoy!
When Tony Stark tries to jump start a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and it is up to The Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Cobie Smulders, Thomas Kretschmann, Paul Bettany and Stellan Skarsgard. Marvel has slated the film for wide release next year on May 1st, 2015.
