Sweet Trailer…'A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas'

Seems that stoner buddy flicks will never die…and you won’t hear any complaints from me. I’m not going to lie, I’m a fan of Harold and Kumar as there’s something charming beneath the crass and insane misadventures in their first two films. Penn and Cho have good chemistry which really makes the jokes work and while I wasn’t partial to the second film the original holds a special place in my heart. So for those of you who enjoy the high times and low moral fiber, I present the trailer to A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas.

The guys, as you might expect from the title, are back for a third helping of the hilarity and hijinx (emphasis on the, well you get it). This time H&K’s story is centered on and around Christmas. The first time directorial debut Todd Strauss-Schulson brings Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg’s story to us in a format perfect for a stoner flick…3D (I like the fact they’re breaking the 4th wall to tell us how much of a fad they think it is). Throw in regulars like Neil Patrick Harris (read: NPH), Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, as well as newcomers Patton Oswalt, Thomas Lennon, Danny Trejo, Casey Jones himself Elias Koteas and this is gonna be a blast this holiday season.

Not to step on the toes of the purely wholesome Christmas crowd A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas will be released in theaters this Fall on November 4th, 2011. I’m 100% in for this, but I’ll ask you…Is anyone going to be counting down days til the return of Harold and Kumar? Or is anyone going to fa, fa, fa, fa, fa forgetting about this??

This looks so insanely bad that it could actually be good. Very weird trailer (and movie)

I really don’t get the type of humor that H and K is. I’m not saying it’s a bad franchise, an I get why people enjoy it, I just really really don’t.

But seriously, a seasonal sequel in 3D? I kind of puked in my mouth a little bit.
