Well Bat-friends, we are getting ever closer to the last leg in Chritopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are two of the finest comic book adapations to ever grace the screen but more important are also just great films. Nolan has incredible reverence for the characters and the mythology and before we go up, up, and away with his Man of Steel project, here’s his final foray into the Gotham part of the DC universe. Behold, the final full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. Was that awesome or what?? No honestly, tell us because we couldn’t watch it. Reason? Well, we believe that a film as…

Ohhh, Look…First Image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman for 'The Dark Knight Rises'
Not to be outdone by yesterday’s debut of the Big Blu Boy Scount in costume, WB has released an official costume shot from their other DC mainstay. Nope, not Batman, but rather his frenemy Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman). To be honest I really didn’t want to put this up as it’s not nearly as impressive as Supes new duds (and probably not the Catwoman costume either) but I’m intrigued with this shot of her on the…well, you’ll just have to see after the jump won’t you?

Ohhh, Look…'Cars 2' Inspired Cinematic Vehicles
For those of you who get their kicks on Route 66 from seeing cars with giant eyeballs, have a gander at these Pixar inspired interpretations (read: no actual Pixar affiliation) of famous film automobiles. G-S-T Quick 5 – Favorite Michael Keaton Roles
Whenever I hear the name Michael Keaton, I immediately think of 3 things: Batman, Beetlejuice, and Clean and Sober. Three completely different roles but three extremely complex roles…especially when you think of his humble beginnings as a stand-up comic. You won’t see Adam Sandler playing a super-hero (let’s just hope not). You won’t find Jerry Seinfeld playing a “bio-exorcist” and you won’t hear of Ray Romano playing the dramatic lead as a recovering drug addict. So it’s with a very varied resume that Keaton finds himself spanning a career that, although a little slow as of late, will probably never die. And I’d bet on that…especially when you do work for…

Comic Book Adaptations – Why Do So Many Fail?
The real Clash of the Titans Comic Book films have certainly come a long way in the past 10 years. There have been some truly sensational films, that spawn even better sequels that keep hope of more films like it alive. Yet there have also been God-awful messes that cannot be unseen no matter what you do. With all the good and bad out there I think filmmakers/studios are finding the groove but things could be a lot better. We need comic book adaptations which will do more than just keep the genre from simply breaking even. Now to start things off, there is no one solitary reason more comic book films fail…

Does ‘Nostalgia’ Make a Movie Better Than It Is?
After seeing Blade Runner for the first time about 6 years ago, I have been wondering ever since “why the world is infatuated with Blade Runner?” I’ll admit it looks cool but I don’t think it’s that great a movie. Sure, it gets high points for style and imagery but the ending alone killed it for me. Such an interesting story and all that build up for what…an unimpressive ending that just ends like they couldn’t think of anything better. That’s my personal opinion but still I wonder, and more to the point of my post – Do people like it now just because they saw it as a kid?? Where…
