The final trailer for the Len Wiseman remake of Total Recall hit the web last night right as we were at a Press screening of The Amazing Spider-Man (review up real soon) so we’re just now getting to it…you’ve probably already seen it (and all the nods to the original) but here it is again. Still not sold on it, but maybe it’ll be more fun in the theater…enjoy! The new adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale” takes cues from highly stylized big budgets sci-films as you’re bound to see bits of Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Minority Report just to name…

G-S-T Review…American Reunion
The fourth cinematic installment of the America Pie series (add to it 4 DTV films which brings the total to 8 ) American Reunion gets back to where it all started. Most of the kids from East Great Falls High have moved on and with the upcoming 10 year reunion (really it’s 13) they see how their lives come full circle. Jim, Oz, Kev and Paul have done pretty OK for themselves, though in Stifler’s case it seems all he’s done is spun in place. Containing the same level of raunchy humor that made the first movie a hit, the gang is now back for a forth helping of Pie and…

Sweet Trailer…'A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas'
Seems that stoner buddy flicks will never die…and you won’t hear any complaints from me. I’m not going to lie, I’m a fan of Harold and Kumar as there’s something charming beneath the crass and insane misadventures in their first two films. Penn and Cho have good chemistry which really makes the jokes work and while I wasn’t partial to the second film the original holds a special place in my heart. So for those of you who enjoy the high times and low moral fiber, I present the trailer to A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas. The guys, as you might expect from the title, are back for…

Off the Shelf…'Star Trek'
I can proudly say that after years of being a “born and raised” Star Wars fan, I am now starting to lean the other way…no, not the Dark Side, but I believe I am becoming a “neo-Trekker”. Weird, but this is the best ‘sci-fi’ film I’ve seen in a while and it really got me considering the other Space Opera property that I had overlooked for so long. Also Star Wars has just become continually disappointing since Episode I, so for me this is a welcomed change of pace. So here we are with J.J. Abrams‘ masterful direction of a Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman screenplay (we’ll forgive them for their Revenge of…
