When it comes to film, “character actors” and “leading men” are usually two very distinct and disparate roles. In the 31 years since Since John McTiernan and Ah-nuld kicked-off the Predator universe, the series has had some severely diminishing returns. Usually the more you see of something, the less impact is has. And weak story has a lot to do with it. As such, the Predator brand needs a real good jump start that is both fresh, exciting, and free of well-worn gimmicks.
