Sweet Trailer…'A Nightmare on Elm Street'

I haven’t really been to keen to the neo-horror classic reboots (as they have fallen way short in living up to the originals) but something has surfaced today making me reevaluate my previous stance. The second full trailer for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake has surfaced and I am actually quite drawn to it. The reason you ask? Well it’s probably a culmination of three points. 1. I have been an increasingly interested fan of Jackie Earle Haley since he was Rorschach in The Watchmen (a role where he kicked major ass),  2. Twilight alum Kellan Lutz is in this movie (and so I get points with the wife…

    Yi-Ha!!…The G-S-T Trailer Round-Up!!

With this being the end of my first week back from my Honeymoon, I am now absolutely, positively caught up on all that I had missed while being in Australia. Wow, a lot can happen in 2 weeks, huh?! So for anyone out there who also missed a sizable chunk of entertainment goodness, here’s a comprehensive collection of films trailers I’m going to call “The Trailer Round-Up“…well, comprehensive as far as films I want to see anyway. If you haven’t seen any of these, please enjoy them for the first time with me. If this is old news, perhaps some of you might think they’re worth a second look: ——————————————————————————————————————————————- Toy Story 3 looks…

    Off the Shelf…’Moon’

When Moon was first released, its awareness and later its success mirrored that old story of “The Little Engine That Could”. Moon slowly but surely made waves in the film circuit and was eagerly awaited and rightfully praised at each proceeding festival. With its popularity strongly brought about by great word of mouth, it quickly became one of the films to see of 2009. In a genre where it is very tough not to do anything cliché, overdone, and achieve something new, Moon felt both refreshing and familiar and, in what I believe can only be described as alchemy, the elements in this film combined to produce a nearly perfect film.

    G-S-T Turns 1!!…Legally Drinking Still A Long Way Off…

Well it gives me great pleasure to tell you all that Go,See, Talk!, the movie blogging phenomenon (we wish) has made it through its first year of infancy. We’ve had some fun, met lots of great people, recorded some podcasts with Firstshowing.net and Flickchart’s Flickfights, made the IMDB Hit List a couple of times, received nominations for the oh so special “Kreativ Blogger Award” and just have a blast everyday with each new post. It’s on this day of joyous celebration (with yours truly out of the country) that we’d like to thank all the visitors, commentors, and those regular readers who give us reason to live, take on the whole Empire…

Next Up On Kevin Costner's Plate…A Lot!!

Hello World, Marc Here: I’m just about finished checking the backlog of things I missed while on my Honeymoon and boy am I glad to have found this tidbit below. Now before I get to the good stuff, I wanted to get something out. I don’t think it’s a surprise to any of you that Kevin Costner is one of my favorite actors. Drama, comedy, epics, you name it, he’ll do it. Sure he had some missteps but what great director/actor hasn’t? Me, I just adore his work, well, most of his films anyway. Without fail, and sometimes to a fault, I will see anything he’s attached to. But the man has such…

    Sweet Trailer…’The Last Airbender’

While I was away in Australia, it seems I missed some things…like the Superbowl, the commercials and this trailer for M. Night Shyamalan‘s adaptation of the American Anime The Last Airbender. Now I’ve said this many times before, but it bears repeating. I’ve never seen an episode of the show but I know that it is wildly popular. Also, M. Night is a huge fan, so his decision to make this film is a personal one and he’ll be putting his heart into it. Here’s hoping that the end result is an adaptation that gives fans a warm feeling inside and that it does justice to the series. For those of you late…

    Annnd We're Back!!

As they say down under, Hallo Mates!! (BTW, no one says G’Day anymore. I think it’s because they know foreigners will just laugh at them if they say it). Well I have to say the bachelor party, the wedding, the reception, and the after party all went off without a hitch. “I love it when a plan comes together”. For any of you interested G-S-T fans out there, follow this link to our wedding slideshow on the photographer’s website. Man, is he good!! Other than that, Australia was awesome!! Expensive, but awesome and memories that will definitely last a lifetime. I’ll get some photos posted in the next few days…
