The real Clash of the Titans Comic Book films have certainly come a long way in the past 10 years. There have been some truly sensational films, that spawn even better sequels that keep hope of more films like it alive. Yet there have also been God-awful messes that cannot be unseen no matter what you do. With all the good and bad out there I think filmmakers/studios are finding the groove but things could be a lot better. We need comic book adaptations which will do more than just keep the genre from simply breaking even. Now to start things off, there is no one solitary reason more comic book films fail…

The write-up of this film comes, in part, because of this weeks release of the Machete trailer. Machete was one of the fake trailers created for this and the Quentin Tarantino Grindhouse “Double Feature”. As fans of Robert Rodriguez know, Double R is a filmmaker in his own category. Mr. Iron Giant, or should I better call him Mr. Incredible (aka Brad Bird) has been “officially” tapped to direct the next Mission: Impossible installment. Easter Eggs In/After The Credits
Does anyone remember watching films made in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s? In those films, all the credits were at the beginning of the film only thing up at the end were the cast, the words THE END (see above) and that’s about it? I liked those because when the movie was over, you were done. He has been an important part of American Cinema in the last 30 years and played such famous (and near legendary) roles like Michael Corleone, Frank Serpico, Sonny Wortzik, and my personal favorite…a tie between Ricky Roma and Big Boy Caprice.
