Well, I just wanted to let you know that I think we’re almost there. This layout is one of the top three contenders for the new look. Some more tweaking is needed before we have a reigning champion. But if this is the format we decide to go with, then I think this little video (albeit a little goofy at the start) fully illustrates my feelings on the matter:

I don’t know if this was one of the finalists or what but I like it, it’s pretty smooth.

There were two others but they both were a little too complicated for my taste and had a few nagging things that kept me from 100% liking them. All in all, I’m happier but I anticipate another change happening at the end of the year.
