Sweet Trailers…'Super Bowl XLV Ads'

For those of you who saw the Super Bowl you’ll know there were some pretty dope spots for this year’s . This morning I heard a radio announcer say that “in two weeks, a majority of those who watched it will forget the score, but the commercials will live on“. Good point, however I believe the same can be said for a few of most of those Movie Spots. But whether the movie in question will actually be any good (or live up to this hype) is another thing entirely.

So whether you missed the Super Bowl and this is your first time them or if you just want to see it again, please enjoy the following spots:

Micheal Bay’s “rock em sock em robots” series continues with its third installment Dark of the Moon blowing up theaters July 1st, 2011.

Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger will defend freedom on July 22nd, 2011

Marvel Comics’ other Avenger Thor will be smashing into theaters May 6, 2011

Jack Black and the “Ka-Boom of Doom” (read: Kung Fu Panda 2) will kick into theaters May 27th, 2011

By this time next month we’ll be watching Johnny Depp’s chameleon alter ego swash-buckle bandits in the old West. Rango is set for release on March 4th 2011

And last but not least the Cowboys & Aliens (and an especially bucket naked Olivia Wilde) Super Bowl Spot…

Of the ones featured, which was your favorite?? And please don’t say Fast Five:P I’m pretty sure I’m going to see every movie above this summer…and I cannot freaking wait!!

quite liked the transformers one. although those movies should just be restricted to trailers. cowboys and aliens looks like its gonna rock too. captain america doesnt grab me at all. maybe its because im not a captain… or america

@Ross…you know, since nearly all trailers these days are cherry picked something fierce, why bother even making movies any more. If you can pack all the emotion/comedy/excitement.etc into 2:30 then why even make a movie?:P Just make boat loads of trailers!

@Klaus…The more I see of Rango the more I like it…I just wonder if Johnny Depp’s CG quirkiness won’t get old halfway through the picture. Still, the graphics on this look really really good; like a Legend of the Guardians level quality.
