There are few things human beings simply cannot live without – food, water, shelter and, every few years or so, a Muppet movie. While we were weren’t entirely fond of the gang’s last outing, this sequel is the sure-fire jolt to the funny bone fans have been patiently waiting for. More credit where it’s due, director James Bobin worked out all the kinks and seems to know where to take things from here on in. To quote a certain frog, Yaaay!!! The Muppets are a very self-aware bunch which, among a laundry list of criteria, is part of their charm. As such, the film starts right on the heels…

Ohhh, Look…Johnny Depp Clip From Gervais/Merchant's 'Life's Too Short'
Last week we posted the trailer for the Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant hilarious looking faux-doc TV show Life’s Too Short. We already knew it would contain loads of the duo’s trademark awkward and uncomfortably brash comedy but below is our first look at what we can expect. Have a look after the jump and enjoy this short but snarky exchange that shows that, like an elephant, Johnny Depp never forgets…or forgives.

Sweet (TV) Trailer…'Life's Too Short'
Earlier this year we posted the announcement trailer for the new Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant series Life’s Too Short. The team’s upcoming BBC Two/HBO series is a faux-documentary following a highly fictionalized life of actor Warwick Davis (Willow). Much like his own appearance in Gervais’ Extras, Warwick is seems just fine having a laugh at himself. Also along for the ride is a slew of stellar guest stars…but I won’t ruin if for you. Have a look and enjoy!! The duo behind the original The Office look to have another hit on their hands replete with all the awkward and uncomfortably brash comedy (like this for example) we’ve come to expect and grown…

Announcement: New Sitcom From Ricky Gervais – ‘Life’s Too Short’
Fans of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant you can start getting excited about their next project. The hilariously brilliant pair have another show in the works, and this time it stars Warwick Davis (Willow). A combination of The Office and Extras it’ll be a fake documentary focusing on the media and fame and as the pun laden name of the show implies, Warwick will be playing himself. From the looks of it some of the Extras crew (hey, it’s Barry off Eastenders) may be making appearances so that should make funs even happier. Have a look at the preview… I for one don’t think I’ll ever get tired of…

If you haven’t seen any of these, please enjoy them for the first time with me. If this is old news, perhaps some of you might think they’re worth a second look: ——————————————————————————————————————————————- Toy Story 3 looks…

Sweet Trailer…'The Invention of Lying'
Simple pleasures for a simple Monday. It’s undeniable that Ricky Gervais is pure comic gold. He’s flat out funny in every way, shape and form. So much so that his brilliantly simple show about the boring world we spend 8 plus hours in 5 days a week inspired our own ‘state-side’ adaptation that is hugely successful…I’m talking about ‘The Office’. Yes, that’s right, your beloved Steve Carell show is a US remake of the British show of the same name. If you haven’t see it, please go check it out. Ricky almost seems to radiate comedy and makes everything and anything funny. Just watch his other show “Extras” or his…
