Hot off the press comes this ‘sneak peek’ featuring Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Avengers, M:I 4) taking over the series for Matt Damon. As we’ve seen in the last teaser the spy world is so much larger than we ever imagined. Case in point: the great tagline “there was never just one” is incredibly deep and impacting to say the least. So feast your eyes on this trailer for The Bourne Legacy, which does a great job of showing how this film fits into Damon’s Bourne universe with a side/parallel story from writer/director Tony Gilroy…enjoy! In addition to Renner taking the reins we’ll see the supporting cast of Albert Finney, Joan Allen and Scott Glen return…

Sweet Trailer…'Branded'
…or, at least we think it’s a sweet trailer. This film from directors Jamie Bradshaw and Aleksandr Dulerayn calls to mind the familiar saying that “what’s old is new again“. This year we’re already seeing it with updates/reboots of films from Batman to Alien, and similarly here comes something that might make John Carpenter proud…or scratch his head. While the trailer seems straight-forward, at least in concept, it does go from engaging to WTF in about 8 seconds. Like a bizarre mix of They Live and anything David Cronenberg, this sci-fi mindscrew might just keep your interest. Have a look… Branded is both written and directed by Jamie Bradshaw and Aleksandr Dulerayn and stars Jeffrey Tambor, Max von Sydow, Leelee Sobieski, and Ed Stoppard.…

Sweet Trailer…'The Great Gatsby'
Baz Luhrmann’s latest adaptation of a literary classic comes in the form of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. We all know that Luhrman is comfortable with a big budget/ensemble cast but this looks to put his previous efforts to shame. Grabbing an all-star cast we’ll see Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton offer their talents to this rather splendid looking period piece (which is in 3D for some reason). It didn’t sound too appealing at first but get a load of this trailer… Fans of The Great Gatsby should feel at ease with Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet) at the helm. Not only is he directing…

Sweet (and Spooky) Trailer…'The Possession'
Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Drag Me To Hell) produces the mid-Summer shocker The Possession. The film follows a divorced couple dealing with their young daughter’s recent change after she acquires a mysterious antique box at a yard sale. Only, there’s no music in this box, it contains a Dybbuk: a “wandering spirit who takes over the bodies of living people, rather than moving onto the next realm of existence“. Sounds like a quasi-new spin for a horror film and with a dependable cast and a really excellent music choice, this trailer might actually surprise you. Enjoy! Directed by Ole Bornedal, The Possession stars Madison Davenport, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick…

Sweet Trailer…Four-Minute Extended Preview of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’
Like all great trailers, this 4 minute preview of Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man has been teased, hyped and like the two that came before it, TOTALLY delivers. Endless love for Raimi and Maguire aside, this looks fantastic. As you might suspect, 4 minutes will show more than you probably wanted to see but it is worth it. Enjoy this “super preview” and the two latest theatrical posters below… Even though this is an origin story (that some still call unnecessary) Webb’s Spider-Man will do one better by going with some deeper back-story to tell the “untold story” of Peter Parker. Specifically we’ll learn how he came to be raised by his…

Sweet Trailer…'Gangster Squad'
Before we ever get Zombieland 2, Ruben Fleischer will treat us to the sweetest noir since LA Confidential or The Untouchables. Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and–if he has his way–every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. Like Elliot Ness in his fearless pursuit of Al Capone, a small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling) come together…

Sweet Trailer…'Argo'
Ben Affleck impressed a lot of people with Gone Baby Gone and The Town, but while we were only half impressed with his Boston rendition of HEAT, he still has some undeniable talent. His next project is an ambitious story which details the declassified events about a hostage crisis that took place in Iran on November 4th, 1979. 6 of 52 American hostages managed to escape the siege when militants stormed the U.S. embassy in Tehran. Taking refuge in the home of the Canadian ambassador, the film shows the efforts that CIA “exfiltration” specialist Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) came up with to get them safely out of the country. Have a look for yourselves……

Sweet 2nd Trailer…The Expendables 2
While we were sorely let down by Sly’s original opus The Expendables the entertainment and America is all about underdogs and second chances right? Case in point. Going for a bigger and badder but still deliciously 80’s era outing, Sly gets the band of bad-asses back together for Lionsgate’s The Expendables 2. This time Sly has given the helm to Simon West (Con Air, The Mechanic) to spend more time in front of the camera which, we hope, this time is a good thing. Anyway, lock and load, The Expendables 2 is going in hot… Sly (as Barney Ross) is again joined by Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy…

Sweet 3rd Trailer…'The Dark Knight Rises'
Well Bat-friends, we are getting ever closer to the last leg in Chritopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are two of the finest comic book adapations to ever grace the screen but more important are also just great films. Nolan has incredible reverence for the characters and the mythology and before we go up, up, and away with his Man of Steel project, here’s his final foray into the Gotham part of the DC universe. Behold, the final full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. Was that awesome or what?? No honestly, tell us because we couldn’t watch it. Reason? Well, we believe that a film as…

Sweet 2nd Trailer…'G.I. Joe: Retaliation'
Last December we got to see just what Jon M. Chu has in store for us in his follow-up to 2009’s G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra. That first trailer looked pretty slick and probably had even the most avid naysayer going Yo Joe!. Now we get a simply awesome second trailer that looks even better. As one of the few people who really dug the ridiculousness of Stephen Sommers’ Rise of Cobra, I have to tell you that this gives me chills. Not only are they expanding on the very clever storyline from the first film but now they’re bringing in the big guns to make this look oh so…
