Being ever so much funnier and engaging than the trailers implied, Due Date, Todd Phillips‘s second road trip movie, proves that he has more up his sleeve than Frank the Tank and a “one man wolf pack“. Personally speaking I really didn’t know what I was in store for aside from his hilarious but brief resume which goes back to 2000’s Road Trip. Call me a less than sophisticated film enthusiast but I’ll take a good laugh riot over a perfect story most days of the week. Well this is shaping up to be a trailer packed week but can you blame me, there’s just been a good number to go around. This one however doesn’t need a set up so I’ll get right to it. Well talk about good news to kick off the weekend. From the mind of Seth MacFarlane and his genius comic crew comes the final installment of their Star Wars spoof trilogy. It was about this time last year that their Empire spoof titled Something, Something, Something Darkside was announced. Well as it’s that time of year again, now I know what I want for Christmas.
