From director Jon M. Chu comes this somewhat related sequel to Stephen Sommers’ G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra. Picking up with the brilliant plot-line that (spoiler!!) covertly put Cobra in the White House, Zartan in now acting as The President of the United States. Under his orders, the G.I. Joes have been hunted down and eliminated…or so we think. The few who survived the massacre are now going head-to-head with the Zartan, and the world leaders he has under his influence, to clear their names. Yo Joe! Tell me that wasn’t the least bit awesome! I seriously geeked out at the Cobra banners on The White House. Doesn’t that just seem like something right out of the cartoon? It…

Sweet (Teaser) Trailer…'Men In Black 3'
“Here come the Men In Black” *clap clap*. Boy that takes you back, doesn’t it? Some would argue it’s been too long since the deligntfully lopsided chemistry of Agents J and K have graced the silver screen. Although, others would argue that’s because last time wasn’t exactly the duo’s finest effort…thanks in part to a rather lacking story. But hey this is America and we get three strikes right? Well, back again *clap clap* those “galaxy defenders”, comfortable dealing with all things odd and alien, can now add “time travel” to the experience portion of their CV. Behold, the first teaser trailer for Men In Black 3… A film always…

Sweet (and Spooky) Trailer…'The Cabin in the Woods'
Calling all you Whedon fans, have we got something for you. In 2009 Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard developed and completed an ambitious horror flick called The Cabin in the Woods. Playing up the stereotypical elements in a film about ill-fated teenagers, Whedon/Goddard set out to turn what has become a trite story (and, to an extent, genre) on its head. Unfortunately this film has been kept on a shelf all this time but it is now getting its long awaited debut. Check out this sweet trailer…if you dare! It’s rare that trailers give me chills but from the looks of it Whedon/Goddard have something special here. Sure it starts out mundane and banal…

Sweet Trailer…'Escape From M.S. One' (aka 'Lockout') UPDATED
From Europa Corp and Film District comes the Luc Besson written sci-fi film Escape from MS One (previously known as Lockout); his first other worldly adventure since The Fifth Element. In it, Guy Pearce stars as a wrongly convicted man who is offered freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter from an outer space prison overrun by the inmates. Quality of the video not withstanding it looks like another high-energy flick that few but Besson can deliver…and in space no less. This is the international trailer which explains the subtitles but it also has some profanity so be advised. Anyway for those of you pining for another Corbin Dallas adventure, sorry this…

Sweet Trailer…'John Carter of Mars'
Wow, now this is just looking sooo much better. A few months back Disney released one major league teaser for Andrew Stanton’s film adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ John Carter. Seeming to have a Cowboys & Aliens meets Avatar vibe some may have been put off by the strange alchemy of stories/genres but this second trailer should get a good number of naysayers on the JCM bandwagon. Earlier today Good Morning America gave us a sneak peek (thanks to First Showing for the heads up) but now we have the official second trailer in its entirety and it doesn’t disappoint one bit. Have a look and enjoy!! Pixar superstar Andrew Stanton…

Sweet (and Short) Red Band Trailer…'Young Adult'
In October, the full trailer for the new Jason Reitman film Young Adult hit the web. It was quirky, funny and most of all it reminded us that petty high schoolers grow old but they don’t always grow up. Today we get a small taste of what is really in store for us as we see the beautiful Charlize Theron channeling Diablo Cody’s not so beautiful writing. For those faint of heart, have look at the green band trailer. For those of you who need a short but bitter mid-Tuesday wake up shot, look no further… Charlize plays Mavis Gary the foul-mouthed divorcee returning to her old life in small-town suburbia and…

Sweet (and Spooky) Trailer…The Woman In Black
From director James Watkins (Eden Lake) and screenwriter Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) comes the adaptation of Susan Hills’ atmospheric novel The Woman in Black which follows young lawyer Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client’s papers. But an evil presence lurks and there he encounters the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance. It’s got just the right mix of creepy settings and boo scares so have a look at this shorter but still effective trailer… Radcliffe will be starring alongside the likes of Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer, Roger Allam and The Woman in Black has been slated for a release date of February 3rd 2012. Mrs. Go,See,Talk saw a 2…

Sweet Trailer…'Brave'
Brave tells the tale of Scottish Princess Merida, an unruly daughter of royal nobility who is not content living by her family’s rules (sound like any other Disney Pricesses we know??). Merida one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. Going in the “way back machine” this excitingly looks in the same vein of the other recent and fun medieval stories like Legend of The Guardians or How To Train Your Dragon and that’s got my fires stoked! For those of you who were on board for the teaser trailer back in June behold, the full length trailer…now with more Scottish accents. Enjoy! Originally Brave was to be directed…

Sweet Trailer…'Being Flynn'
It’s been a while since Paul Weitz gave us About A Boy (an endlessly charming family-centric film if I do say so myself) and unfortunately as of late his track record has been on par with the once mighty Shamhammer (read: Shyamalan). While no one was expecting anything of merit from Little Fockers, the most recent in a series of underwhelming films from both Weitz and De Niro, the two reunite in the adaptation of offering a story about another of a troubled broken family looking for some semblance of normalcy. Below is the trailer for the Robert De Niro led film Being Flynn. Have a look… So far, I’m game. The unassuming…

Sweet Trailer…'Snow White & The Huntsman' – UPDATED
Wow! I knew this other Snow White movie was going for a larger and grittier tone but I wasn’t expecting this. From Universal Pictures comes the Rupert Sanders directed take on the Snow White story we all know…or think we know. Combining the looks of the Lord of the Rings trilogy with a scale on par with anything Ridley Scott has ever done this just floored me. Enough words, just watch…oh and sorry for the short ad below. Enjoy!! Going for a rather heavy and dark spin on the famous fairytale this looks, as I kind of imagined, waaay more interesting and captivating than the upcoming Tarsem Singh film Mirror, Mirror. Can’t say much…
